The Men’s Sprint final closed the cycling rivalry on the Pruszkow BGZ Arena velodrome, during the 2009 UCI Track Cycling World Championships, taking place between 25-29 March.
Australian Leigh Howard turned out the most versatile contender and won the Men’s Omnium, during the last day of the World Tracks in Pruszkow.
French Gregory Bauge became the world champion of the Men's Sprint, during the last final of the Pruszkow World Championships. It was the second gold medal for French.
The Chinese representative, Shuang Guo, became the world champion of the Women’s Keirin, defeating French Clara Sanchez and Dutch Willy Kanis in the final rivalry.
