Bauge the king of Sprint!
French Gregory Bauge became the world champion of the Men's Sprint, during the last final of the Pruszkow World Championships. It was the second gold medal for French.
In an even duel of the final, Bauge defeated, by 2:1, Malaysian Azizulhasni Awang, who was left with silver.
In the ride-off for the last podium spot, Sireau beat Australian Shane Perkins. Two heats were enough for French to ensure his nation another medal in the Men’s Sprint.
