29-3-2009 Omnium: Howard leads again Dutch Tim Veldt won the Points Race, which was the Men’s Omnium fourth event. Australian Leigh Howard made it to the first place again and has a one-point lead over Zachary Bell of Canada and is three points ahead of Robert Bartko of Germany.

In the Points Race, Veldt defeated Howard, who, due to the poorer ride of Bell (4th place) and Bartko (7th place), went up to the first position in the classification of the Men’s Omnium. The 1 kilometre Time Trial will be the last Omnium event.
