Men’s Sprint qualifying for Bauge 2009-03-28 Men’s Sprint qualifying for Bauge [Fot. MŚ Pruszków 2009] In the Men’s Sprint qualifying, the best result was gained by French Gregory Bauge, who, as the only one of 44 contenders, didn’t exceed the time of 10 seconds.

Omnium: Hijgenaar wins 2009-03-28 Dutch Yvonne Hijgenaar won the 200 metres Time Trial, the first event of the Women’s Omnium, which had its debut during the Pruszkow championships.

Scratch: Cuban the world champion 2009-03-27 Scratch: Cuban the world champion [Fot. MŚ Pruszków 2009] Yumari Gonzalez Valdivieso of Cuba became the world champion of the Women’s Scratch, defeating British Elizabeth Armitstead and Australian Belinda Goss on the finishin line.

Women’s Sprint quarterfinals 2009-03-27 Women’s Sprint quarterfinals [Fot. tor-pruszkow2009.pl] British Victoria Pendleton, Belorussian Olga Panarina, Lithuanian Simona Krupeckaite and Dutch Willy Kanis qualified for the Women’s Sprint final, during the Track Worlds on the BGZ Arena voldrome in Pruszkow.
